JOB DESCRIPTION
As part of the Accounting team at Vondel Hotels, you will be jointly responsible for the financial administration of our beautiful hotel group. Your role includes activities such as income audit, monitoring and sending debtor invoices, and processing creditor invoices. You will join a small team that works closely together. Working with deadlines really suits you.
Our hotels are located throughout Amsterdam, with seven locations, as well as one hotel in Maastricht. As a member of the Accounting team, you will work from our service office located in Amsterdam. Once you are fully trained, partial remote working is possible. We strongly focus on automation to make our work as efficient and user‑friendly as possible.
On a daily basis, your responsibilities will include:
- Checking revenues and payments (income audit)
- Providing support to colleagues at the hotels (especially Front Office and Reservations)
- Managing incoming emails and post
- Checking and sending debtor invoices
- Posting purchase invoices and expense claims
- Preparing payments
- Posting bank transactions
- Posting various journal entries
- Preparing different administrative reports
- Supporting the Accounting Manager

Working with numbers gives you energy, as does working in a team. You are communicatively skilled and enjoy helping your colleagues, for example when they have questions about a guest invoice. Experience or affinity with the hospitality industry (such as working at a hotel reception or having completed a hotel school education) and administrative experience is not a requirement but is a plus. You are proficient in English in both language and writing, fluent Dutch speaking is not required.
