JOB DESCRIPTION

As Digital Experience Manager, you are responsible for developing, implementing, and optimizing the digital guest journey within Vondel Hotels. You play a key role in improving our guests' online experience, digitalizing processes, and leading strategic digital projects that contribute to revenue growth, efficiency, and guest satisfaction.

You act as project lead for digital improvement initiatives, such as website development, booking engine optimization, and the digitalization of guest communication. You work at the intersection of commerce, technology, and hospitality and are continuously looking for innovations that enhance the guest experience and improve commercial results.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to make a significant contribution to the digital future of Vondel Hotels. You will take the lead in projects such as redesigning our websites, exploring new digital solutions, optimizing the online guest journey, and digitalizing physical guest communication materials such as vouchers, flyers, and hotel information.

You will primarily work from our Service Office at Duivendrechtsekade, but you will also regularly visit our hotels to gain a thorough understanding of processes, needs, and guest touchpoints. In addition, you will work closely with colleagues from Operations, Revenue, Sales, IT, and external partners to successfully deliver digital projects.

WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

We are looking for an entrepreneurial and project-driven digital professional who is energized by innovation and continuous improvement.

You are someone who sees opportunities where others see processes. You know how to lead digital projects from concept to implementation and are able to engage different stakeholders throughout the change process. You have experience with websites, digital platforms, customer journeys, and commercial technologies, and you feel at home in a dynamic hospitality environment.

In addition, you bring:

  • HBO or WO level working and thinking ability;
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in a digital, commercial, or project-based role;
  • Experience with website projects, CMS systems, and digital platforms;
  • Knowledge of UX, conversion optimization, and digital innovation;
  • Strong organizational and project management skills;
  • A proactive and results-oriented mindset;

  • Excellent command of both Dutch and English.
